How it works
Four steps, no learning curve.
What a professional invoice needs
Every numbered point below is marked directly on the sample invoice.
- 1Invoice numberSequential, so both sides can track and reconcile payments.
- 2Issue and due datesSets clear payment expectations upfront.
- 3Billed fromYour business name, address, and contact info for legitimacy.
- 4Billed toClient's full name and contact info, matched to their records.
- 5Itemized workClear description, quantity, and rate per line.
- 6Discount, shipping, and taxApplied before the total — tax is a manually entered rate, not calculated for you, since rules vary by country.

Frequently asked questions
Is this really free?
Yes — no account, no invoice cap, no watermarks. Vertexa's business is currency comparison, not invoicing. This tool exists because our users kept asking for it, and it costs us nothing to run.
Is my invoice data stored anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser. When you close the tab, the data is gone — including any logo you upload.
Can I bill in a currency other than my own?
Yes. Pick any of the 14 supported currencies. If you also want to know the mid-market rate for your client's currency, use our Currency Converter alongside.
Can I add my own logo?
Yes — PNG, JPG, WEBP, or SVG files up to a few MB. It's stored locally in the browser only and appears in the exported invoice.
Can I go back and edit an invoice after downloading it?
The invoice stays in the browser while the tab is open, so you can keep editing and re-downloading. Once you close the tab, it's gone — save the exported file if you need it later.
How do I send the invoice to my client?
Download it as PDF (best for email) or Excel/CSV (best for accounting import), then attach it to your email or upload it to your invoicing platform.
Can I set up recurring invoices?
Not yet — this is a single-invoice tool. Recurring billing is on our roadmap but not shipped.
Is the invoice generator available in other languages?
Not yet — the tool ships in English first, matching how we built the SWIFT, IBAN, and Currency Converter tools. Translations are planned in a follow-up phase.
